“When will I need it?” If you’re setting up on ground that isn’t flat, OR when the wind is about 8MPH or stronger. The Box Target Weight is good for up to about 13MPH. If you’re practicing in more than that, grab two Box Target Weights or more. They can be reused infinitely, because it’s SOLID STEEL.
Don’t want to spend the money? We get it, these things are pricey for us to ship, too, so here’s what you can do if it’s windy and you don’t have a Box Target Weight:
Get some heavy rocks to stick on The Box Target’s flaps when it’s standing up. If you’re here in the Phoenix area, come buy it in person, $50 with no shipping cost.
People try to use rebar, that ain’t gonna work. You need to heat rebar to bend it first. if it’s not bent, a strong wind will push The Box Target and your rebar will just roll off and the Box Target will fall over.
